1.Psyllium husk or isabgol is rich in soluble fibre. This fibre helps in reducing appetite, improving digestion and cleansing the system. An excellent choice for healthy weight loss.

2. Pterocarpus marsupium or Vijayasar or Indian Kino Tree, Malabar Kino Tree is known for its antidiabetic activity [2]. Besides the strong the antidiabetic property, it is reported to be antiobesity, antihyperlipidemic, anti-inflammatory, anthelmintic, antioxidative, antitumorigenic and antiulcerative.

6. Fennel fibres or saunf fibres bind to bile salts (produced from cholesterol) and decreases their re-absorption in the colon. This action helps lower bad cholesterol levels.* [8]

7. Fenugreek or methi seeds have oestrogen-like properties; it helps in PMS and eases menopausal symptoms.[9]

8. Ginger acts as an anti-inflammatory agent that helps reduce swelling and inflammation in people suffering from thyroid problems or arthritis. It helps in weight-loss and maintaining healthy blood sugar. It helps with chronic indigestion.[10]

9. Moringa leaves are one of the richest sources of provitamin A- the  beta carotene, which is an antioxidant as well.
